Human Spider comes to sticky end, entangles crew

Several unlucky stagehands got caught in a sticky situation this afternoon after failed contestant The Human Spider got his web tangled up in the camera equipment following his disastrous audition moments earlier.

Medics and colleagues spent several minutes trying to untangle the unfortunate team members, to no avail, until a bright spark with a blowtorch turned up to save the day. The Human Spider, AKA Keith Spindlehume, was no help at all, making matters worse by constantly tripping his entangled victims over in order to prove a point, after his arachnid powers had fallen flat in the audition hall. The failed spider-man was later ejected from the Palace after his costume was found to be completely indecent.
